Our Beliefs

The Word

We Believe in obeying the Word of God and that the Bible is the inspired, infallible, authentic, and only authoritative written Word of God.

One God

We Believe that the Creator of heaven and earth, and of all living beings, although manifested as Father, Son and Holy Ghost, remains One

He has revealed Himself to humanity as the Father/Creator (Genesis 1:1, Isaiah 45:12, 63:16, 64:8, Psalm 89:26, 2 Corinthians 6:18), as the Son/Savior (Isaiah 9:6, Matthew 8:29, Mark 1:1, Luke 19:10), and as the Holy Ghost/Spirit (Luke 1:35, John 14:26, 1 Thessalonians 4:8).

Salvation

We Believe in the plan of salvation, which comes only through repentance (denouncing your sin and surrendering to Christ), being baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, and receiving the Holy Ghost.

We believe that water baptism is essential to the plan of salvation by total immersion in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sin. Through baptism we identify with the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ (Romans 6:3-6; Colossians 2:11-14). It is part of the new birth experience and entering into the kingdom of God (God’s church, the bride of Christ), and therefore, it is not merely a part of local church membership, but an essential element of salvation.

We believe in the necessity of the baptism of the Holy Ghost with the initial sign of speaking in other tongues (Acts 2:4, 38). Christ died – We “die to the old life” through repentance (II Corinthians 5:17). Christ was buried – We are buried with Him in water baptism (Romans 6:4). Christ was resurrected – We are resurrected with Him through the infilling of the Holy Ghost (Romans 6:4; 8:11; I Corinthians 15:45).

Holiness

We Believe in living a clean, holy and acceptable life according to the Word of God. Our entire lifestyle should reflect godliness in every aspect of living: attitude, character, relationships, apparel, interactions with our fellow man and all other areas of our conduct .

THE RAPTURE

We Believe that Jesus Christ will return to the earth and His church will be ‘caught up’ with Him in the Rapture, and shall live with Him in Heaven for eternity.
